She had a friend there so this was staring to get embarrassing as we'd given her our room number, thinking things couldn't get worse and that we'd soon be in the empty pool we waited. (We also had to ring later this day for milk as when the room was changed they weren't replaced- they bought us water to begin with then sent the milk up) We headed down to the spa, trying to relax only to be kept waiting on the welcome desk for 10 mins whilst she tried to find our names. My husband rang again and the robes arrive 6 mins later. The same day we were late for breakfast, now armed with all information we needed we thought we'd use the hotel facilities so my husband rang for bath robes.20 minutes and after the hassle of breakfast we were wondering why we were bothering. Of course there's going to be a language barrier, a little patience on both ends is always needed and I expect somewhere we pay a lot of money to stay to hire adequate staff to speak to all nationalities. Due to the awkwardness of the checkin we didn't feel comfortable asking more questions and Timothlee made us feel very uncomfortable, staring at us blankly and almost huffing when having to repeat something. The staff member we were speaking to was lovely and organised for us to eat some pastries etc this was after my husband had been up and down floors on days before for various other things because we didn't have a number. 4 days later after very busy days at Disney we turned up to late for breakfast and found out that the information we required should have been given to us on arrival. When we finally got up to the room we found no information on how to ring reception, opening times for breakfast or the spa etc. We weren't made to feel valued, in fact I very nearly walked out when Timothee who was checking us in answered the phone for the 3rd time when we were having difficultly getting the information we needed concerning the local tax etc. The checkin was the worst I've ever experienced. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in quite awhile! A very nice surprise!! More Show lessĪfter reading the positive reviews we had high expectations from this hotel, however after only a few minutes inside we knew we weren't having as good a stay as others. This is the best deal for any family going to Disney especially since you can make and keep your own food! Parents can have private relaxing time at the Spa. The pool and spa are excellent because they are for adults and older children. The gym is full size and you can get an excellent workout, since they have several machines in very good working order. The rooms are very quiet, clean, and you have plenty of room for all your travel accessories. The room is a small apartment with a refrigerator, stove, and microwave separate from bedroom. You can eat in the hotel, or walk 5 minutes to a major mall which has several eating establishments and a large grocery store. The complimentary shuttle drops you off in front of Disney and they give you a number to call so they can pick you up. They went out of their way to help you and made my stay outstanding. The entire staff that I observed were very receptive to all hotel guess. Not sure why people are complaining but you are in France, not the United Kingdom or America. This hotel is located 3 minutes from the Chessy Metro station and less then 10 minutes from Disneyland.
